Kristina has been with the National Rural Health Resource Center since May of 2023. She is our Human Resources Coordinator.
Kristina comes to the Center with a variety of professional experiences that include office administration in many fields, hospital unit coordination, teaching (all age groups), and geriatric nursing.
She grew up surrounded by small communities in the farmlands of Central Illinois and received her bachelor of science degree in elementary education with a concentration in psychology from Illinois State University in 1996. In 2003, she became a licensed practical nurse as a dare from the St. Paul, MN hospital nurses she was then working with, and has fond memories of her former rural geriatric patients.
Kristina has lived most of her life in central Wisconsin and currently calls Duluth, MN home. When not at work, Kristina enjoys bonding with her three teenagers, cuddling with her cats while binge-watching historically-based shows, and exploring new potential hobbies.
