Minnesota Web Recruitment is an internet-based service for greater Minnesota clinics, hospitals and urban community health centers. It has offered nearly 18,000 opportunity viewings since its inception in January, 2008.

Targeted providers include in-practice providers as well as residents or students in training.  The Center has established long-term relationships with the University of Minnesota School of Medicine, Duluth, and Minnesota’s primary care residency programs.  The Center visits these programs annually, advocating Minnesota rural practice.  The Center also exhibits at state, regional and national levels annually to promote rural health care.

The National Rural Health Resource Center is the Minnesota state member of the National Rural Recruitment and Retention Network (3RNet), which is the platform used to host and manage opportunity postings.  3RNet is a non-profit recruitment organization whose members are composed of state offices of rural health, area health education centers and primary care associations.
