Request for InformationThe Inpatient Rule that came out of the August 7, 2007 Federal Register states that beginning October 1, 2007 hospitals are required to notify patients that a physician may not be in the hospital 24/7. This should be a boiler plate statement similar to HIPAA notifications. We are looking for examples of what hospitals are using. Please send them to TASC. Thanks for your help! |
TASC 90 Conference CallTASC will be holding a TASC 90 Conference Call on Wednesday, November 14th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Central Time (3pm Eastern, 1pm Mountain, 12pm Pacific). The focus of this call will be on CAH Replacement, we will also have an ORHP Update, Flex Monitoring Team Update, and an update on the 24/7 Physician Coverage regulation.
