The Availability and Use of Capital by Critical Access Hospitals, Flex Monitoring Team Briefing Paper No. 4
This study examines the experiences of Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) in meeting their capital needs. It focuses specifically on their efforts to obtain capital, the capital sources taped through these efforts, how CAHs have used the capital they have been able to obtain over the past few years, and assesses their current capital needs.

Capital Financing Study
This study summarizes the projected financial impacts of constructing a new facility. It includes future performance projections from current-year financial statements, forecasts future cash flows, and provides all the necessary forms to facilitate HUD funding decisions. New Data Summary Report on CAH Financial Indicators
This report summarizes the 2003 state and national medians for each indicator. The indicators are grouped by financial dimension: profitability, liquidity, capital structure, revenue, cost, and utilization. The number of CAHs included in the median calculations is also provided. Information about the definition and interpretation of the indicators can be found in the full report, Briefing Paper No. 7. Outpatient Rehabilitation Facility Feasibility Study
This feasibility study is a preliminary analysis of the feasibility of an outpatient rehabilitation facility for Tahlequah, Oklahoma. It covers estimation of needs, capital and operating costs, and potential revenue. It may be used as a model for a similar study in any state. The Oklahoma Research and Demonstration Center developed this study for Primary and Managed Care.
