Kiona began her work with The Center in 2017 and currently serves as Program Coordinator II across a variety of programs.

Kiona works on the Technical Assistance and Services Center (TASC) and Small Rural Hospital Improvement Grant Program (SHIP) teams, bringing in-depth knowledge of tools and resources through her past work with the Network Technical Assistance team. She also coordinates Small Rural Hospital Transition (SRHT) Project educational activities, supporting rural hospitals across the country in the transition to value-based care and population health. 
 
In addition, Kiona supports the coordination and delivery of Rural Health Innovation (RHI) Consulting services. 

Kiona received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Southwest Minnesota State University in May 2015. Kiona is an active volunteer in her community, particularly with organizations doing ground-breaking work to create a community free of violence.
