This webinar recording discusses how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting rural emergency medical services (EMS). This event is supported by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy and coordinated by TASC, a program of the National Rural Health Resource Center. 

Following the webinar, participants will be able to: 

  • Describe how rural EMS response is different during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Recognize the ways that rural ambulance services are adjusting operationally.
  • Recognize any innovations related to the EMS COVID-19 response.
  • List resources available to rural EMS and ways that Flex Programs can support rural EMS with regards to COVID-19.
