Speaker: Scott W. Goodspeed, DHA, FACHE, Principal & Vice President, iVantage Health Analytics

Rural hospitals have traditionally been operated and lead through a variety of means because of their underlying culture and history. This session is designed to present ways in which hospitals can operate successfully and compete on analytics. It is based on the utilization of metrics to set objectives, targets and adopt strategic initiatives. This session provides participants with a host of tested financial and clinical metrics that can be brought back to their hospital for consideration and adoption. National rural data from Hospital Compare, HCAHPS and MBQIP are also shared.
