Learn how to forge new relationships with physicians, including pay-for-performance contracts, gainsharing arrangements and new medical staff models. Under fee-for-service reimbursement, hospitals incentivize physicians to increase their productivity. To succeed under the emerging value-based payment model, however, hospitals must partner with their affiliated physicians to deliver value.
