The Finance 101 manual has been recently updated! This new manual expands on the former manual that was focused solely on Critical Access Hospitals. The new manual not only includes updates for the Critical Access Hospital but is expanded to include information and guidance for small rural PPS hospitals and rural health clinics. This session will provide an overview of the updates and how Critical Access Hospitals, small rural PPS providers and rural health clinics can utilize the information in this manual for their organizations.

This manual was developed for use by staff and boards of small rural hospitals and clinics as well as state Flex Programs. The content is designed to be as non-technical as possible and provide answers to frequently asked questions regarding CAH, small rural hospital and RHC finance and financial performance.
