Health care communications can be a challenge when trying to reach a specific audience. Understanding generational behaviors and mindsets can equip you with the knowledge you need to meet your audience where they are. Communication strategies must be established that reflect the nuances of the multigenerational, multicultural, and bilingual homes in the communities you serve. Messaging should be created to address the health disparities that challenge communities of color.

This webinar will explore ways to reach a culturally and generationally diverse audience when developing your communications strategy. We’ll discuss techniques on how to craft messaging that appeals to each generation’s needs, at every stage of their life, including verbal and written content. We’ll also share factors, such as cultural and literacy differences, that should influence your messaging.

Objectives:

  • Identify generational and cultural differences and how those differences impact communication strategies
  • Understand the basics of targeted communication planning focused on the right messaging, for the right audiences, at the right place
  • Learn how to look at a diverse audience for what they have in common, and then align your messaging approach and tactics to their respective nuances
