This telehealth webinar was the event in a six-part series focused on rural telehealth topics to build state Flex Program knowledge and understanding of telehealth and the rural application. It shared examples of rural models and provide access to educational information and resources that can be disseminated to rural providers. This event was coordinated by the Technical Assistance and Services Center (TASC), a program of the National Rural Health Resource Center, and supported by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP).

Following the webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the opportunities and challenges for rural health providers in implementing and sustaining tele-behavioral health, including primary care integration
  • List examples of rural models across different aspects of tele-behavioral health
  • Describe how Flex Programs could support tele-behavioral health for critical access hospitals and rural health clinics
  • Identify evaluation and metrics for tele-behavioral health programs
  • Recall support and resources available from the Telehealth Resource Centers

DRCHSD 2023 Annual Summit

For the last three years, due to the pandemic, we have held this event virtually. This year, for the first time since 2018, we will host the summit in person.
