In previous newsletters, it was mentioned that there is a Sex Assigned at Birth data element change that will impact data submission starting with Q3 2024 encounters for the Median time from ED arrival to ED departure measure (OP-18). For CMS Abstraction & Reporting Tool (CART) users will there be another CART update to handle this Sex Assigned at Birth data element change?

Does this discontinuation of CART for the REHQR program affect CAHs that use CART for data submission for MBQIP?
