Integrating Behavioral Health: Gaining Stakeholder Buy-In

Event Details

Host:
Rural Health Innovations (RHI)

Many Network Development projects involve integrating behavioral health with primary care. Through small group discussions at the All Program Meeting Cohort launch in early March and subsequent 1:1 Coaching Conversations, many participants have reported struggling to gain buy-in from stakeholders, particularly providers and administrators. This Cohort Call will focus specifically on this topic.

During this peer sharing opportunity, our Subject Matter Expert (SME) Amber Rogers from Mountain-Pacific Quality Health will share her experiences with integrating behavioral health into four very diverse primary care practices. Amber will also share strategies for improving partner buy-in and engagement. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and ask questions pertaining to their network’s unique situation(s).

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Discuss potential sources of resistance to integration
  • Identify strategies for cultivating stakeholder buy-in and engagement
  • Connect with other network leaders to share resources and solutions for integrating behavioral health with primary care

This event is open to the July 2017 cohort of Rural Health Network Development Program grantees. Event connection details have been sent to eligible networks. For more information, please contact the Network TA Team at networkta@ruralcenter.org.
