This recorded Virtual Knowledge Group (VKG) webinar focuses on the Core Competencies for State Flex Program Excellence. Learning objectives include:
- Review the purpose of the Core Competencies for State Flex Program Excellence
- Learn how the Core Competencies related to the federal Flex grant requirements
- Review the Core Competencies Self-Assessment and learn about the technical assistance available from TASC to support development of the Core Competencies
- Discover how state Flex Programs are using the Core Competencies to improve their program performance
The recording is available in the Flex Program Forum (log-in required). Flex Program Forum access is limited to those indicated on the Flex Program Forum page.
VKG webinars are supported by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP) and coordinated by the Technical Assistance and Services Center (TASC), a program of the National Rural Health Resource Center (The Center).
The primary goal of this assessment is to assist users in identifying and prioritizing opportunities for enhancing competency within their state Flex Program at the organization-level, not the individual level. Based on assessment outcomes, resources can be identified for areas in which the program self-identifies a gap or opportunity for improvement.
