Integration of Rural Health Clinics and Hospitals

This TASC 90 webinar focused on the integration of rural health clinics (RHC) and rural hospitals and included updates from the Technical Assistance and Services Center (TASC), Rural Quality Improvement Technical Assistance (RQITA), the Flex Monitoring Team (FMT), and the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP), with updates on both the Flex Program and policies impacting critical access hospitals.

By participating in the TASC 90 webinar, participants were able to:

  • Discuss the benefits of integration of primary care and rural hospitals, particularly regarding population health, value payment, and care coordination work.
  • Explain how rural health networks enhance patient care, integrate services, and support the health of the people in their service areas.
  • Identify steps Flex programs can take to support integration efforts within their states.

This event was supported by FORHP and coordinated by TASC, a program of the National Rural Health Resource Center (The Center).
