Beka began her work with The Center in 2022 and serves as Senior Community Program Coordinator on the Delta Region Community Health Systems Development (DRHCSD) Program. In this role, she supports the DRCHSD team by scheduling and coordinating educational webinars, maintaining materials and databases, and communicating closely with healthcare organizations and community champions. She also serves on The Center’s Employee Engagement & Experience Workgroup.
Beka holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science & Public Service with a concentration in Public Administration & Nonprofit Management from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and has extensive experience serving communities through her work in the nonprofit sector. She currently serves as board chair for an organization that advocates for the systemic advancement of women and young people in Tennessee through education initiatives and policy change.
Beka resides in the Nashville, TN area with her family. She enjoys reading, baking, traveling, and being in nature.
