Beka Stanfield

Beka began her work with The Center in 2022 and serves as Community Program Coordinator II on the Delta Region Community Health Systems Development (DRHCSD) Program. She provides support to the DRCHSD team while scheduling and coordinating educational webinars, maintaining materials and databases, and communicating closely with healthcare organizations and community champions.

While in school, she worked for an inclusive preschool where she helped teach children with special needs. After graduating, Beka served as a board member for a nonprofit organization that serves artists who are experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. During her time on the board, she served on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and chaired both the Development Committee and Annual Events Committee. She most recently served as a chair for an early voting event in her community for an organization that advocates for the systemic advancement of women and young people in Tennessee through education initiatives and policy change.

Beka holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science & Public Service with a concentration in Public Administration & Nonprofit Management from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga.
