Erica Ledet began working at The Center in 2024 as a Program Specialist for the Delta Region Community Health Systems Development Program. (DRCHSD). She assists the Community Care Coordination team to provide education, coaching, and technical assistance to Community Champions and their communities.
Erica has over a decade of experience working with children and adolescents who have been in and out of the juvenile justice system. She has also served as Senior Project Coordinator with the Policy & Equity Team at the Louisiana Public Health Institute where she contributed to the efforts aimed at addressing systematic inequities across the state of Louisiana.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northwestern State University and a Master of Social Work degree from Grambling State University.
She has a passion for community development and capacity building in rural settings. Her interest also includes advocating for the rights of children and adolescents with learning disabilities, specifically Dyslexia. Outside of work, Erica enjoys spending time with her two sons, traveling, and serving her community. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
