Jennifer began working with the National Rural Health Resource Center in 2025 and currently serves as a Program Specialist II on the Consultation Team for the Delta Region Community Health Systems Development Program. In this role, she supports hospital improvement initiatives and fosters team-based collaboration across rural health systems.

Prior to joining the Center, Jennifer worked with the Louisiana Department of Health, where she co-led a youth male athletic mental health pilot program that received statewide recognition and was featured in the 2023 business plan for the Office of Public Health. She also helped secure a large grant to expand rural hygiene programming, applying strategic planning and cross-sector coordination to address community health needs.

Jennifer brings over a decade of experience in public health, program development, and stakeholder engagement to The Center. Her career spans government, nonprofit, and academic sectors, with a focus on health equity, systems-based thinking, and sustainable solutions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Nicholls State University.

Residing in Louisiana with her husband and daughter—plus the family fish and turtle—Jennifer enjoys traveling, concerts, roller skating, astrology, photography, reading, and quality time with loved ones. Netflix binge sessions are also a cherished pastime.
