Olivia joined The Center in April 2026 as a Communications Specialist. She helps to bring The Center’s work to life through a range of brand-aligned content including social media posts, website copy, guides, and marketing materials.
Growing up in a small community in western Massachusetts, Olivia developed an early appreciation for the important of rural communities and the people who make them strong. Many of her family members worked in health care as pharmacists, doctors, and EMS professionals, giving her a firsthand look at the impact they had on the lives of her friends and neighbors. She also witnessed the many challenges that prevented her loved ones from receiving the care they desperately needed. These experiences helped shape her interest in communication and community well-being. With a passion for creative communication practices and a desire to help others, she earned her bachelor’s degree in communication with a focus on media arts and graphic design from Westfield State University.
Since graduating, she has gained several years of experience in developing and executing content strategies across digital platforms in both the education and financial sectors. She also has experience in brand development, internal and external communications, and community engagement outreach and efforts. At The Center, she is most excited to apply those skills to help strengthen rural communities and sustain access to health care close to home.
Olivia lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Outside of work she can be found enjoying and exploring the outdoors, playing guitar, crafting, and spending quality time with friends and family. She lives by the C.S. Lewis quote, “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.”
