Precious Fritz began working with The Center in 2024 as a Program Specialist with the Delta Region Community Health Systems Development (DRCHSD) and the Community & Population Health (CoPo) teams. This role facilitates community capacity building services through assessments, action planning and implementation, and liaison training. She assists leaders and providers in identifying and addressing health care needs of their community.
Precious was raised in Nevada and has lived in six different states. One of her favorite states was Minnesota where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology at Winona State University.
Precious has a passion for social welfare policy and how it impacts the equitable access to resources. This passion was first ignited by excessively watching Star Trek, as a child, and continued to grow.
Prior to coming to The Center, Precious was a community partner in education around multiple rural health issues such as suicide, shaken baby syndrome, and workforce development.
Precious currently resides in Alabama with her husband and son, who both happen to be in the US Air Force. She still watches an excessive amount of Star Trek.
