Yara Alamin joined The Center in November 2024 and serves as the Program Coordinator for the Technical Assistance and Services Center (TASC) and the Small Hospital Improvement Program (SHIP) teams. In this role, she supports rural health efforts through program coordination, communication with rural hospital leaders, and the development and organization of program resources and materials. She has a strong foundation in public health and health administration, with experience in non-profit work, community outreach, and program evaluation. Yara is especially passionate about project management and improving healthcare quality.

She holds a Master of Health Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from West Virginia University. Yara resides in West Virginia with her cat, Leonardo DiCATprio—Leo for short. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and painting.
