Monroe County Hospital

Monroe County Hospital is a general medical and surgical facility that offers a full-service emergency department, 8 bed ICU, lab, pharmacy, cardio-pulmonary and chemotherapy/oncology. Skilled home care services including physical, occupational and speech therapy are offered to home-bound patients. The hospital is considered a teaching facility to improve health care through learning and research. 

In May 2017 they were recognized as a Baby Friendly Hospital and offer services such as childbirth and breastfeeding classes, and lactation consultation. Monroe County Hospital also offers monthly support groups for patients with cancer or diabetes diagnoses.
