South Sunflower County Hospital

South Sunflower County Hospital is located in Indianola, MS, Sunflower County. South Sunflower County Hospital is a 49-bed general acute care public hospital, with three Rural Family Practice clinics and a Surgical Clinic serving a rural population in the Mississippi Delta. It was established in 1939 to provide primary care to a diverse population. In 2013 SSCH increased its service lines to include Swing Bed Unit, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Podiatry, Behavioral Health, Pain Management, ENT Services, and Wound Care Center. Additionally, they have enhanced service lines to include lab, radiology, respiratory, surgical suites, and a telemetry unit.
