Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital (SGCMH) is located in Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri. SGCMH opened its doors in 1969 as a 35-bed facility with 42 employees. Today, the health care organization includes the 53-bed licensed acute care hospital, which received critical access hospital (CAH) designation in 2005, and eight local physician practices. They employ over 380 individuals with a medical team comprised of over 100 active, courtesy and consulting providers. SGCMH is a not-for-profit, county-owned CAH governed by a community-elected five-member Board of Trustees. Their services include cancer care, emergency services, home health, orthopedics, pediatrics, surgery, and respiratory therapy among many other areas.
