DRCHSD COVID-19 Telehealth Talk

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
National Rural Health Resource Center (The Center), Huron Consulting Group

The benefits of telehealth can help keep patients healthy while helping to contain the community spread of COVID-19. Telehealth will also help keep people who need routine care and beneficiaries with mild symptoms in their homes while maintaining access to the care they need. CMS has broadened access to Medicare telehealth services so that beneficiaries can receive a wider range of services from their providers remotely. CMS is expanding this benefit on a temporary and emergency basis under the 1135 waiver authority and Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act.

This webinar provides an overview of what should be considered as you prepare telehealth options for your community. Participating DRCHSD hospitals/clinics were invited to come with questions for our Huron consultants regarding telehealth implementation and utilization during this time of need with COVID-19.
