DRCHSD Hospital / Clinic Learning Collaborative: Leading in Times of Crisis

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
National Rural Health Resource Center (The Center)

The unprecedented crisis presented by the COVID-19 pandemic has made the already challenging job of leading a rural health care organization even more difficult. In the face of extraordinary uncertainty, leaders must make critical decisions, keep lines of communication open, and support others - all while managing their own emotions related to events inside and outside the workplace. In this learning collaborative Shannon Studden, a leadership development expert, will share strategies to help hospitals and clinic leaders support their team and themselves through this difficult time.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explore strategies for supporting employees and ourselves during times of crisis
  • Communicate in ways that inspire trust and engagement
  • Share experiences with and learn from other leaders facing similar challenges
