Ambresha Johnson joined The Center in 2021 as a Community Program Specialist for the Delta Region Community Health Systems Development (DRCHSD) Program. She manages the Rural Healthcare Provider Transition Project (RHPTP) and Population and Community Health Services. 

She has a background in community health, quality improvement, technical assistance, and outreach. Ambresha has worked in conjunction with community members, state health departments, school administration, and community health care organizations to help improve health outcomes in areas of greatest need.

She received her Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Park University and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Jackson State University. 

Ambresha resides in Central Mississippi with her husband and her dog, Jello Reed George.
