Angie LaFlamme

Angie LaFlamme joined the National Rural Health Resource Center in 1996 and has provided more than 25 years of support and technical assistance. She has provided technical assistance in areas such as health care provider recruitment and retention, engaging and retaining health care workforce, growing rural allied health workforce via Rural Health Innovations’ (RHI) former Rural Health Network Development Program, state Flex Program grantee successful outcomes and sustainability of critical access hospitals (CAHs), and Small Rural Hospital Improvement Program (SHIP) grantees in the transition to value-based care and population health.

In her current role as Program Specialist with the Rural Healthcare Provider Transition Project (RHPTP), Angie provides relevant and pertinent technical assistance, education, tools and resources to small rural hospitals and certified rural health clinics around financial risk, operations, quality, efficiency, patient experience, and safety of care in order to help them prepare for and position their organizations to be effective participants in a health system focused on value.

Angie resides in Lake Nebagamon, WI and enjoys being outdoors, woodworking, crafting, home improvement projects, and spending time with her kids and dogs.
