Caroline Bell began her work with the Center in 2021 and currently serves as a Program Specialist on both the Technical Assistance and Services Center (TASC) and Small Rural Hospital Improvement Program (SHIP) teams. She provides technical assistance, coordinates educational webinars, and facilitates program events.
Raised in Reno, Nevada, Caroline’s first exposure to rural health was during her time as an AmeriCorps VISTA in Sewanee, Tennessee. This experience spurred her passion for rural communities. She brings in-depth experience working in rural Appalachia in both the healthcare administration and community health fields.
Caroline received her Bachelor of Public Health degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, and her Master of Public Health degree from East Tennessee State University.
Caroline resides in North Carolina with her partner and enjoys reading, barre class, cheering for Bay Area sports teams, and caring for her numerous house plants.
