Eligibility and Application
Each year, the Delta Region Community Health Systems Development (DRCHSD) Program selects 10 health care organizations to participate and receive technical assistance support.
Eligible DRCHSD applicants include critical access hospitals, small rural hospitals (inpatient prospective payment system facilities with up to 100 beds), rural health clinics and other health care organizations located in Delta Regional Authority (DRA) designated counties and parishes.

Applications for the DRCHSD Program are accepted on a rolling basis and may be submitted at any time during the year.
Applicants may submit an online application form or complete the Delta Regional Authority’s Notice of Intent form.
Applications are evaluated based on (1) how well each applicant organization’s technical assistance needs coincide with the program’s purpose and goals, and (2) the commitment of the organization’s leadership to participate fully in the program.
Applicants not selected to participate in the current program cycle will be considered for future cycles.
