Core Competency: Improving Financial Sustainability

The Oregon Flex Program has been working on improving the financial sustainability of both Critical Access Hospitals and their Rural Health Clinics by offering education opportunities to hospital CEOs, CFOs, and CNOs, as well as Rural Health Clinic Managers. These opportunities have included webinars, presented by Wintergreen, and peer-to-peer learning collaboratives (specific to RHCs).

What is one activity your state is funding through SHIP?

Oregon SHIP has funded efforts to help hospitals address health equity and provide cultural humility training and education.
