Decatur County Memorial Hospital (DCMH)

Decatur County Memorial Hospital (DCMH), located in Greensburg, Indiana, reached out to its community in several ways. DCMH provided free influenza vaccines to the community at the Westport Health & Business Expo and free comprehensive blood screenings at the county health fair. With the help of small businesses, local organizations and active community members, the hospital and Decatur County came together to enhance the overall health of their small town.

Positive Outcomes

  • DCMH administered over 4,000 free influenza vaccines in 2012
  • Conducted over 250 free health education events
  • Developed partnership to implement a new clinic named StayWELL to offer employees at both major school corporations in the count an easy choice in health care
