Implementing and Sustaining Rural Community Paramedicine

This webinar playback covers findings discovered in the February 2021 Rural Community Paramedicine Summit. Participants involved in this event included: well-established rural and urban community paramedicine (CP) programs; a critical access hospital administrator with an in-house CP program; two state Flex Programs who support CP initiatives; and representatives from the Flex Monitoring Team at the University of Southern Maine. This event was supported by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy and coordinated by TASC, a program of the National Rural Health Resource Center.
Following the webinar, participants will be able to:
Identify the challenges and opportunities related to implementing and sustaining CP in rural communities
Recognize key strategies and lessons learned from participants of the February 2021 Rural CP Summit
Provide examples of state Flex Programs that can support related initiatives to support rural CP
The annual Flex Program Reverse Site Visit (RSV) is supported by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP) and coordinated by the Technical Assistance and Services Center (TASC), a program of the National Rural Health Resource Center (The Center).
