DRA invests in regional leadership through its annual Delta Leadership Institute Executive Academy. Fellows representing each of the eight DRA states are selected by the eight governors and the Federal Co-Chairman from a competitive pool of applicants that represent both public and private sectors

DRA's "Delta Doctors" program aims to provide non domestic, U.S. trained primary care and specialist physicians to healthcare facilities in DRA counties, many of which are designated health professional shortage areas.

An overview of AmeriCorps, the only federal agency dedicated to national service and volunteerism, will be provided along with an intro to the benefits of partnering with the different streams of service.
