This telehealth webinar was the final of a six-part series for Flex Fiscal Year 2021 and focused on rural telehealth topics to build state Flex Program knowledge and understanding of the use of telehealth for the provision of Alternative Origination Sites for Rural Telehealth.

Following this webinar, participants were able to:

  • Describe telehealth origination sites and common rural alternatives
  • Relate what a telehealth visit looks like for the patient from an alternative site such as a library
  • Discuss the positive impact on health equity and patient access
  • List examples of rural alternative origination sites

This event was supported by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP) and coordinated by the Technical Assistance & Services Center (TASC), a program of the National Rural Health Resource Center (The Center).
