DRCHSD Quality Series: Rural Health Operational and Quality Best Practices

11:00am - 12:00pm
The National Rural Health Resource Center

DRCHSD Quality Improvement Webinar Series: Rural Health Operational and Quality Best Practices

Description: Healthcare is transitioning from the traditional “fee-for-service” payment model and shifting to a “population-based” model in which healthcare systems must align their delivery systems, payment systems, and population health strategies to ensure long-term success. As healthcare organizations embark on this transition, it is imperative that they remain focused on the overall patient experience. This presentation will provide a high-level overview of key best practices centered on strategy, finances, operations, and quality that all keep the patient experience at the center of organizational strategy.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the importance of Organizational Quality and how it shapes patient experience
  • Learn techniques to engage patients with their care and make the care continuum easier for them, and the organization
  • Understand how overall financial and operational strategy impact the patient experience
