Description

The Bipartisan Policy Center, a Washington D.C. based think tank, will walk through current federal policy priorities for Congress and the current Administration, and the related implications for rural health care providers. Learn about the impact federal policy currently has on rural health care and behavioral health, future considerations, as well as the possible effects on digital services such as telehealth and physician payment reform.  

 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:  

  • Understand the current political and policy dynamics in Congress and the Administration that affect rural health care and behavioral health
  • Understand major federal policies with implications for rural health care providers, health systems and additional services such as telehealth, Medicare Access and CHIP Authorization Act (MACRA), and Hospital-at-Home
  • Recognize how policy changes and priorities anticipated post-election could impact rural health care providers
