Utilizing SHIP Grants to Maximize Hospital Staff Training

This SHIP technical assistance webinar will share experiences and details on how hospitals can utilize SHIP funds to maximize staff training. We will cover types of allowable trainings, unallowable trainings, cohort training, and “contracts” with subject matter experts (SME).

By participating in this webinar, attendees will be able to:

  • Identify acceptable forms of hospital staff training that utilize SHIP grant funding
  • Discover services and contracts that are an allowable expense under the SHIP grant
  • Evaluate the needs of the SHIP hospitals to identify appropriate styles of training
