This guide offers anyone who manages and/or works with the Flex Program the opportunity to complete a competency self-assessment, identify areas of proficiency, recognize opportunities for improvement and development, and gather insight into what determines proficiency.

America’s rural health care system faces growing challenges in accessing capital funding for essential infrastructure projects. This paper provides a historical overview of major capital funding programs and analyzes the persistent challenges that prevent rural health care providers from converting available funding into usable capital—undermining sustainability in rural health systems.

This guide is designed to target opportunities within the Flex Program to improve the scope of work requirements for subcontracted consultants. It will assist state programs in building greater accountability with their subcontractors to deliver more meaningful information to improve program deliverables, reporting, and demonstrating measurable program outcomes.

In this module, we’ll explore what it means to engage your team and share some strategies for strengthening engagement by developing your team’s knowledge and skills, making collaborative decisions, and building a strong team identity.
