The goal of the Flex Program Workshop is to provide new or existing Flex Program staff and state office of rural health directors an orientation to the Flex Program. This workshop will cover multiple topics relevant to the Flex Program.

This webinar, supported by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP) and coordinated by TASC, focused on the results of the Flex FY 2020 Performance Improvement and Management System (PIMS) data collection as well as the requirements and resources available for the upcoming end of year state Flex program reporting.

Learn about the impact of outcome measurements on your State Flex Program.

Following this webinar, participants were be able to: List sources of EMS data and recognize common obstacles related to accessing EMS data. Recall how baselines are established. Discuss how outputs and outcomes are different, and give examples of how to measure project outcomes.

Receive guidance for the Fiscal Year 2022 Flex Program EMS Competitive Supplemental Funding Guidance. Understand the requirements, templates, and relevant resources.

Discuss expectations for the Flex Year 3 QI Project, including the Quality Innovation Labs, and get questions to Q Project questions. Hear updates on MBQIP, including eligibility requirements for Flex Program Year 4, and share feedback with FORHP on MBQIP, QILs, and other QI needs in your state.
