Rural Health Best Practices

Developing collaborative and innovative ways of managing the health of communities is an important component in transitioning to value-based care.

The Rural Health Best Practices recognition certificate, presented by the National Rural Health Resource Center and the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy, highlights the achievements and impact of individual critical access hospitals (CAH) in Flex Program-supported activities.

The recognition, based on nominations from state Flex Programs, also provides examples for other states to reference as they plan their own activities.

This recognition was previously known as CAH Recognition. Past certificate recipients are listed below by activity areas common to the Flex Program.

Please contact TASC if you have questions or need help reaching out to a specific state.
