Fall 2022 Flex Program Workshop

The goal of the Flex Program Workshop is to provide new or existing Flex Program staff and state office of rural health directors an orientation to the Flex Program. This workshop will cover multiple topics relevant to the Flex Program.
This SHIP technical assistance webinar will share experiences and details on how hospitals can utilize SHIP funds to maximize staff training. We will cover types of allowable trainings, unallowable trainings, cohort training, and “contracts” with subject matter experts (SME).

State Flex Programs remain vital because of the web of relationships developed and maintained within communities, providers, networks, states, regions, and nationally. It is imperative that state Flex Programs have the skills, capacity, and commitment to build and sustain partnerships, new and old, to support rural providers and rural stakeholders.
The Flex Program and CAHs rely on leadership and a skilled workforce to advance program goals and deliver high-quality, high-value care for patients.
The SHIP TA team will be hosting office hours with the SHIP Program Officers on June 11th from 2:00 – 3:00 pm CST. These office hours are drop-in, so you are welcome to attend as your schedule allows.
